Fantastic Stay at Holiday Inn Express Lucerne" I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lucerne! From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly, making check-in a breeze. The room was modern, clean, and spacious, with comfortable bedding and great amenities like a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was also spotless, and I loved the large shower with good water pressure. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station, and easy access to the lake and the city center. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast each morning, which had a great selection of items, including fresh pastries, eggs, and cereals. Overall, this hotel provided great value for money. The combination of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience made it a memorable experience. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Lucerne!

Across the street there is Mc Donalds, on the corner Asian cuisine. 5-7 min walk you can get to a few restaurants (Mexinac and European food). There are some constructions close to the hotel, but the noise did not disturb! Breakfast could be more variuos, but considering it as a basic range hotel was okay. Overall good hotel, just a but pricy.

Point of attention: The juice is not fresh. Bus station is nearby, just a minute walk from the hotel (3 bus lines during day time). Train station is nearby, just a 2 minute walk (S4 and S5 train brings you to and from the hotel to Lucerne main train station). Nice view at Mount Pilatus!

The size of our room (Family room) was perfect. The breakfast was good. Around the hotel, you can find shops and some restaurants.

Room rates are cheap for swiss standard and they gave us Luzern visitors card which give us free transportation around luzern throughout our stay.
